It's actually my 6th time going to the Dune (desert) but this is my first time climbing the highest part of the dune to see the sunrise without the staircase, in fact Dune du Pyla (or Pilat) is the highest dune in Europe. Climbing up wasn't easy, it took us 20mins just to reach the top of the dune by feet and climbing down was a horror for me as well, not to mention it was freezing cold in the morning, but well it's all worth the journey ??
