Mina started her banking career with a global US bank in Hong Kong in 2005. With more than 10 years in the financial industry, she has been in different roles from client service, sales, product management, to supporting many lines of businesses for Treasury services, Depository Receipts, Custody business at the firm. She initially manages the overall Vietnam business for the company, and overtime expands her roles in covering Asia Pacific region.
Grew up in Vietnam, she has lived in Singapore, the US, Hong Kong, and China for school and work. While establishing the international banking and NBFI network in the region, she had a chance to return to Vietnam and ventured into different fields such as fund management, media, entertainment and sole-proprietorship in Vietnam.
The valuable experience in different fields gave her the exposure to different skill sets, industry knowledge and people diversity. Passionate about social and community initiatives, The New Savvy is a perfect platform that she could utilize her financial background to further promote financial wellness into the Vietnamese community.
She received a Bachelor of Science, concentrating in Corporate Finance and Financial Services from San Francisco State University. Certificate in Interior Design at NAFA Singapore in pursuit of hobby outside of banking. Mina loves outdoor, sport and adventures. She is currently part of a fun passionate bachata/salsa dance team where they perform in different Latin events around the region.
