Nicole Denholder – Next Chapter 

Nicole Denholder is the founder of Next Chapter. 

Next Chapter is a funding portal especially for female entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses in Asia, to improve their access to funding.  It offer’s reward-based crowdfunding platform, Funding Readiness programmes and a community of female entrepreneurs who are looking to fund and scale their businesses.  See more at www.nextchaptercrowdfunding.com

Nicole previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in London and Hong Kong in PwC’s US IPO and Advisory practices working on large scale projects across Europe and Asia.

Since starting Next Chapter Nicole is a regular speaker on Crowdfunding with events such as FinnovAsia, HKU’s Future City Summit, StartupNext, Australian Chamber of Commerce as well as running Crowdfunding training at co-working spaces Paperclip and Tuspark. Nicole is also on the Australian Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Network’s Executive Committee and on the Board of the Women Entrepreneurs Network in Hong Kong.

Ray Wyand – gini

Ray Wyand is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of gini, Hong Kong’s first personal financial management app. Prior to founding gini, Ray was a Vice President at Citi Global Markets where he focused on Structured Credit, Securitisation’s and Derivatives.

The gini app lets you can link all your banks into a single app and get a consolidated view of your spending in seconds. The beta is currently in the App Store, with 5,000 users and a waiting list of 1,500 waiting to use the app.

Marilyn Santiago – Food Folk

Marilyn is the founder of Food Folk which espouses conscious eating. She is interested in the connection between health, wellness and the impact this has on the environment. Food Folk is on a mission to produce food geared towards the retail shelves of grocery stores around Hong Kong. Food Folk kale chips and vegan muffins are now finding their way into the convenience health stores of Hong Kong.

Marilyn has two daughters who she is homeschooling. She was trained as an engineer and has previously managed her family’s telecoms business in the Philippines where she hails from.
