Here are the main generations in the workplace today:
- Baby Boomers (Between 1946-1964)
- Generation Xers (1963- early 1980s)
- Generation Ys or Millennials (Early 1980s to 2000s)
Each group has its own distinct characteristics, values, and attitudes toward work, based on its generation’s life experiences. To successfully integrate these diverse generations into the workplace, we need to embrace each others’ strengths and weaknesses.
