Joanna Tan

Joanna Tan is a Writer of The New Savvy. A Year 4 undergraduate from the National University of Singapore, she is currently pursuing a double major in Sociology (Honours) and Communications and New Media (CNM). Joanna was appointed an ambassador of her residential college, College of Alice and Peter Tan (NUS) and played an instrumental role as an External Affairs Alumni Officer under the CAPT College Student Committee. She also previously held the position of President of Guitarpella. A trained public speaker, Joanna has hosted multiple events, including the Kent Ridge Ministerial Forum 2017 with Guest of Honour, Minister for Manpower, Mr Lim Swee Say. Committed to academic excellence, Joanna was awarded the Deans List last semester (NUS).
